Proud Partner of the Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund.

Together, honoring the fallen by lifting their children up.

Who was Johnny Mac?

Col. John McHugh, a member of the U.S. Army for 24 years, was killed in action on May 18, 2010 in Kabul, Afghanistan. His fellow West Point classmates then joined together to ensure that his five children would receive a college education. In 2014, that effort grew into the Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund.

Why We Help

For every Mercedes-Benz vehicle sold in the U.S. this year, the company will make a donation to the Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund, which helps provide eligible military children with college scholarships and other college assistance. Time and again, America's military members and their families are asked to give of themselves for the rest of us. While they ask little in return, we owe them so much. Mercedes-Benz USA Dealers are honoring fallen members of the U.S. Armed Forces by lifting their children up.

 Giving Back Through Education

Since 2014, thanks to our generous supporters, Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund has awarded $3.4 million in college scholarships to military family members.

Moreover, we've held our overhead at 6% or less, designating at least 94 cents of every dollar toward our scholarship programs.

Your generosity will allow us to continue this important work. Join us on our mission!
